I called the FCA today and was totally appalled at the lack of professionalism, loud giggling and laughing, and the girl I was talking to had to get composure. I had to inform her that my $60,000 truck being turned into a hunk of junk after having the settlement recall work done was and is a serious problem. She transferred me to a recall specialist whom could not of been more rude, and when I asked for a supervisor the second time, he hung up on me. I absolutely loved this truck and now get physically pissed every time I drive it. Ram is becoming a joke. Back in December I was told a new recall would be coming to address my concerns. I received the new 19V-757 recall 6 weeks ago and they still don’t have the parts/plan to fix the truck. What the hell is going on.

I asked for a supervisor after not hearing what I wanted to hear. They saiid okay then put me on hold. I thought I was waiting for a supervisor. I hung on for twenty minutes before the line went dead. That was not what I wanted to happen. They need to clear things up for us wait on answers to the Eco-diesel!!!

I had similar upsetting phone calls from "customer service". The person had ZERO clue what the EGR was or did.

There's a new update for the AEM. Talk to your dealer.
I went to my dealer today, 02/28/2020, to have the new update done. They knew nothing about it, and I had to try and show them all the information, including the letter FCA sent out to the owners in January 2020. They hooked it up to the computer and ran it for about 3 hours, and told me that their was NOTHING new as far as an update. If FCA has the new update out to some dealers, why isn't out to all the dealers. It is a computer and it can be sent out to everyone at once. Something is wrong. Why did FCA sent out the letter to all of use stating that a NEW update has been approved, but the dealers know nothing about it?
Call to FCA Customer Service are useless. I even called the class action Attorneys, and told me to go have the new update done at my dealer to alleviate the lag and fuel MPG. It sounds like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Just a Cluster FU-K!

Hi, your experience is so similar to mine, I purchased a 2016 Longhorn ED two months ago, I had the AEM done, and experienced a severe throttle lag and deterioration of mileage, then had to get my truck into servicing 5 times in the first month because engine warning lights kept coming on and off, the last straw was two weeks ago when the technician at the dealership told me I had a severe EGR leak, and that I could n longer drive my truck . I contacted FCA Canada (customer service) and what a dismally poor experience that was, I was getting a complete "why are you bothering me with this crap"? kind of attitude, the service rep didn't have any info whatsoever, I asked to speak to a supervisor and the little weasel said "no", i again asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, at which point he hung up on me!!
I phone again a few more times, and spoke to other "customer service" people who exhibit nothing but contempt for the customers, that I wanted to speak to a manager or supervisor, and again I was informed that I could not speak to anyone else, and when I pressed as to why? they also hung up on me.
Twice in my life time, the Government of Canada used tax payers money to bail Chrysler Canada out of bankruptcy, you would think they could show a bit more respect.
They are just an awful company, that manufactures and sells garbage, they don't have any accountability towards the customers and they wont be getting any more of my business.

In the U.S. their is a current recall regarding engine fires stemming from the EGR cooler leak. I don’t know if Canada has reciprocity with the U.S. NHTSB. This is truly a safety issue for all Ecodiesel owners and the Canadian government should step in.

The recall of EGR is definitely a "thing" up here in Canada, what we don't have is any compensation for the AEM tuning which has caused deterioration in fuel economy and power.
My understanding is that in the States, owners were offered somewhere in the range of 3500.00 US.

My 17' has slowly started using coolant. Has anyone heard anything? I just got off the phone with FCA and the rep claimed there is still no parts available to fix the issue. They instructed me to contact my local dealer that could offer a loaner or a rental vehicle at their expense if I do not feel safe driving my truck. Has anyone taken them up on this offer? I would much rather have my truck sitting in my climate controlled garage than in the dealers lot for months and drive a rental on there dime.

Oil cooler failure. Common problem, unfortunately. Coolant is getting into the engine oil. If you are out of warranty I would get a new oil cooler assembly on ASAP.
