Canada Compensation and extended warranty

Hi Fellow Ecodiesel owners.

I purchased a new 2016 ecodiesel and soon after realized there was issues and concerns by the EPA on the emmision , which they were eventually charged. In the USA all owners got compensated and a significant bump in extended warranty coverage
For those of you in the USA...you are very fortunate. We, meaning every person in Canada, that bought the exact same truck with the Ecodiesel engine that was called out in the investigation...got ZERO.
FCA Canada didnt even call it a recall. It was named a "Campaign" with zero dollars compensation and zero extension of warranty. This is so ethically wrong. I now have a sensor that is covered by the US extended warranty and I have to pay over $1000.00 to have the dealership replace the sensor. To put this in perspective, If you live in Detroit you get $$ and extended warranty...but if you live in Windsor Ontario ( across the river) you get nothing. So wrong isnt it.
Glad to be on board and looking forward to getting advise to keep my truck running well.
