Not really sure where to go with this one. A while back, I did a 1.5" body lift to clear my new 35x12.50's and it's been what I'd call successful. I get the slightest hint of rub only at full lock, which I almost never have to do, so ... small victory.

I'm not 100% sure it's related, but I thought I'd mention it. I'm aware the truck is now 10 years old, and Most things Mopar in my experience when it comes to rubber doesn't last very long... my 300 needed various rubber bits, my Fiat 500 did, the Promaster at work did... you get the idea.

I've begun to notice an odd "clunk" that literally feels like it's directly under my feet, I can feel it in the pedals depending on which one I'm using, but it only happens in two very specific situations. I don't get the typical "pop" you would hear with a failing ball joint at every bump, or dip or whatever in the road. I don't get the bearing groan of a sealed bearing on it's way out either. I also don't get the "gargle" of a CV axle that's not long for the world either. Additionally, I don't get the "pop" of a sway bar end link about to yeet itself from the controller arm (can you tell I've experienced EVERY single one of these examples so far in other vehicles?).

Nope... what I get is a very odd "clunk" .. almost the feeling of end play in a really bad ring and pinion gear where there's a bit of slack/end play before it fully engages. The difference is, it doesn't do the "lurch" of a bad R&P as the drive-shaft takes up that slack. This "clunk" happens near my feet... at the pedals, I can feel it through my boots. It only happens when the nose dives under braking, or from a dead-stop acceleration (moderate, not flooring it in a hurry type acceleration). The kicker? It doesn't do it all the time - sometimes it will do it several times on the drive to work or home, some days, it doesn't do it at all.

I've triple-checked ALL The body mount bolts from the body-lift, there's no slack there. I've grabbed the end-links, kicked at the controller arms, grabbed the CV axles, even worked the front driveshaft a few times hoping to feel a sacked-out U-joint. The entire front end feels super-tight... zero slack.

Any ideas where this phantom lies? 🤔

Some possibilities: Motor mounts, lower control arm bushings (inboard), drag link bushings.
