Cold Air from cab

This morning while wiping the morning dew off the rear window with the truck running, I noticed cold air blowing up between the cab and the bed. Anyone know why this is?

There's a cabin air relief vent that exits between the cab and the bed on the drivers side. Maybe if you had you HVAC running, some air was exiting the relief vent. Just my guess.
