Well I've completed my debadging and added a BedRug and Truxedo X15 tonneau (not really appearance mods but I'll include them). I ended up with the BedRug because it's better for my dog for riding in the back and I can always throw down a tarp if needed. I'm very happy with both so far.
I tried WD40 for debadging but it required more patience than I have. Eventually I settled on the following method:
1) Heat with heat gun so the emblem was barely safe to the touch (I could hold my finger on it for a second max)
2) Fishing line to get the emblem off
3) Peel and roll the foam tape up to remove.
4) 3M automotive adhesive eraser wheel. This was pricey but did a superior job removing just the adhesive and nothing else. I'd do a section, wipe with a wet cloth then dry, and repeat till completely clean.
The entire process including WD40 experiment took a few hours but it looks far better in my opinion. I did the RAM letters one at a time because the foam tape was a real challenge if it cooled off even a little. If I did it over again, I could probably finish in 90 mins. Anyway, enjoy the pics!
