Engine brake on 2016 Longhorn

From what I've read it sounds like ecodiesels come with engine brake feature. If so Im assuming mine should have a button to enable/disable it during icy conditions or is it a automatic thing?

They downshift in braking, but to have an actual engine or exhaust brake—-no.
