how often you change the fuel filter? Ram suggests every 30k miles with diesel #2 use. has some seen ill effects like fuel mpg decrease before 30k?

My brother drives an OTR rig and tells me the BIO in diesel fuel can slightly gum up or clog filters. Tells me if you notice power lose and I suppose lower fuel economy, You might need a filter change. I figured id change filter every 20k miles and should be good to go. Haven’t experienced any notable effects but hey, Preventive maintenance is my plan
