Glow Plug/Wait to Start CEL

Greetings. I just bought a 1500 Tradesman Eco this past Saturday. The CEL was lit when I purchased it and the Sales Manager promised to clear it and remedy as they were "waiting on parts". The day after I got it, the "wait to start/glow plug" started flashing. Called service the next day and took it in to get it checked. They checked the code and stated it had to do with the glow plug on #6 cylinder but was safe to drive for the 10 day wait until they can get me in. I imagine the CEL and flashing glow plug light are related.
I bought the truck at a Ford dealership and picked up a Ford Premium extended warranty with them so it'll be Ford mechanics working on my Eco :/
So.... any experience with the flashing glow plug light?

Oops, it's a 2015 with 27K miles on it.
