Welcome aboard eh' :) Lots of good info here. Good looking 5er, how's it pull? What's the dry weight on that baby.

dry weight 6950 lbs pin weight 1375 lbs pulls great installed rear load lifter air bags just to make sure i stall level.

Great to hear! I've been perusing tows and wasn't sure what I should be using as a max dry weight. Apparently 6950 is good.

yes but but the pin weight puts me over my gvwr. all my investigation before i bought my trailer i found almost every 1/2 ton was over the weight gas or diesel. So far mine has been fine. i pulled a travel trailer before that was over 7000 lbs.

I think the main reason that the EcoD has the limits it does, is because of the inferior cooling system, and it will capably haul more, but you have to be careful with long uphills so you don't overheat it. The new 2020 EcoD does have a little more HP/TQ, but it's got a much better cooling system so it's good for over 12k.

Any ideas for upgrades on the cooling system. I have a 2015 w/3.55 gears. I want to pull a fith wheel like yours😎

that was going to be my next post. i have not changed anything on the cooling system yet. That's my winter project to do the research.
