Left Exhaust Manifold Major Leak

Hello Ecodieselers, I have a major exhaust manifold leak on the driver's side and I am wondering what the difficulty level of changing it out is?
I assume I have to drain the AC and possibly the coolant, but I am wondering about the rest of the job...
Do I need any specialty tools?
And quoted hours for completion?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice you may offer.

I have my truck in at the dealership for them to do it.
Either the cab has to come off or the transmission needs to be taken out to get at it...
It was quoted $1600 for labor and bolts and gaskets. A new manifold was $1200 so I'm having them put in the used one I bought for $80...
