I have a 2016 Eco diesel and I have a question about the lift pump. When they go bad, do they completely stop pumping or do they get weak and overtime quit pumping? I hooked my scan tool up to my pick up and the fuel pressure shows to be 9.1 bar And requested fuel pressure shows to be 550 bar. Are either one of those numbers sound like an appropriate reading my truck will start and run for sometimes five seconds, sometimes 10 seconds and then dies. It has a half tank of fuel and I was thinking I would put even more fuel in it, but I did not know if that would do any good. Any help is greatly appreciated.
