I purchased a 2015 Laramie with 110k miles and I took it to a local dealership with a P2455 code at that point they told me I needed to replace the wiring harness for $9000 and I said let’s jump right on that NOT.
At that point I got a print out of the previous service history on the last dealership that worked on it, they are an hour and a half away, took it down to them $440 issue was resolved, it was a short in the wiring from the ECM to the particular filter, also previously they replaced the EGR cooler under warranty, while there on my visit they replaced the intake manifold under warranty.
I will be moving from Comifornia to Florida in December and will be in search of an honest dealership just for warranty work who is familiar to the diesel vehicles & honest.
