Good Morning gang
My wife has a 2015 ram 1500 eco and what I know about it you could put in a thimble. So yesterday she is driving her truck and gets the dreaded check engine lite. so we scan it we pull up a code, Intake manifold POS sensor. My first response was piece of shi but i knew it was not that simple. So my question is what is this and where is it located? I have looked on line but have not had much luck. I will make some phone calls today and see if I can't kick this in the head. any thoughts of comments would be appreciated.

My guess would be the map sensor? If you pop your cover off the top of your engine it is near the egr inlet tube on the manifold. It normally gets caked in soot these are pictures of the egr diffuser tube that go into your intake, the map sensor is located nearby so you can imagine how it will look when you remove it…

Hey thanks team at least I can see what I am looking at. unfortunately it aint good. I try'd the reset the computer thing she drove it about 300 miles with no issues. I drove it last night as we had gone out to dinner and the darn thing came on again. I don't think her truck likes me I am starting to feel the same towards it. I knew that was a long shot but had to try.
