Just bought 2018 1500 diesel Ram. First morning go to start it…. Nothing. Lights all come on dash, battery is new, and no click from starter. I was told it could be in immobilized mode. Dealership is coming to pick it up but would be nice to know why this happened and if that is actually the problem

Is the little red light on the instrument cluster flashing. If it is. Something is wrong with the key fob

There is a red light with exclamation mark in centre that is on. I have 3 key fobs and have tried all three no difference.

Do you have the manual key. Ie valet key. That should work. You have to turn the key on and wait until the light goes out. Usually five minutes. If it doesn't go out, you have a problem with the theft deterrent system. Try unhooking the battery negative cable for 5 minutes and then reconnect it

The manual key did not work nor did removing the negative battery cable for 5 minutes

Went out this morning turned key on waited until all lights went out and started it. Have not had an issue since
