I have a 2017 ecodiesel, just had my oil and filter changed, after driving 80 miles at freeway speeds came to a grid lock on the freeway. Stopped, instanly i got low oil pressure warning. Pulled over checked oil looked great, started back in traffic every time we stopped warning would come on. soon as we would move oil pressure would come up to 40-50 psi.
There was a soft thumping sound all the way home.

Curious as to what oil you use and the trucks mileage on the odometer.

Dodge just imformed me that it was more than likely the oil filter that caused it. Jiffy Lube either installed the wrong one or the filter itself failed. Long block 17k labor 6k so 26k to put a long block in it.
