Newbie needing charging system / electrical advice

Howdy? 2015 ram 1500. Dash lights come on at odd times / overnight. Changed battery. Alternator not consistently working. Volts drop way down. Local mechanic thought it might be the integrated power module (fuse box) however I see many ICs have been removed from it for 2015. Checked fuses, guess I’m checking alternator n cables next. As well as hook up scanner for any hints / tests. Thoughts?
