P026D Code and Injector Serial Number issues

I purchased the alphaobd paid version and am using it with my OBDLinkMX+. I am chasing down an intermittent P0260D code and intended to run the Injector Quantity Adjustment fuction on all injectors after retrieving the serial numbers through the program. None of the injectors were able to be run as I received this error code: "Failed. Wrong request length or invalid request format." Also on Injector #2, the injector serial number changed to AAAAAAA indicating a possible communication issue with the ECM(?). Going back into the injector quantity adjustment function, I am unable to change the serial number back to what it is. The error code for this is "Failed. The ECU has detected that the request contains parameters with values outside allowable range."

Anyone with words of wisdom?
