My 15 ecodiesel threw on the service electronic throttle control light along with the check engine light going 70 down the highway. Got off the interstate and read the code and sure enough P0402 which is the same code is threw when I had to get the EGR replaced last may when the same thing happened...so i am 90 percent sure the EGR went out again.
My question is...will the Sofa King Tune take care of my problem without physically removing the EGR or will I need to physically take it out?
Would it be best to get the dealer to put in a new EGR (covered under warranty) then install the tune?
