So, a little history on my 2016 ecodiesel. About a month ago, I got the service throttle control module code and limp mode, cleaned EGR diffuser pipe and MAP sensor and the code stayed off after resetting the code.

Now, I installed a CFT catch can today, went for a 100km drive and all was good. later in the day we went for groceries and the truck had a CEL come on. When we got home I read the codes. P04DB-00 Crankcase Ventilation system Disconnected.

I planned on ordering the stage 2 delete tomorrow.... Now I am thinking it is to late to save this engine. Any thoughts on this code?

So that code indicates there is an out of range pressure differential between the crankcase and the reference(atmospheric pressure, I believe). If the sensor was unplugged or the vapor return hose was re-routed differently, that could trigger a code.

I had an engine with too much blow-by that triggered the code also (not a good thing). Hope you can figure it out.

A lot of horror stories of codes with catch cans. I wouldn’t worry too much
