I have a 2016 ED Ram, with almost 39K miles on it. I know, not very many. I got a CEL, and with my handy-dandy CEL tester, determined it to be P24AE. That translates to Particle Matter Sensor." I deleted the CEL, and it came back, so I started investigating on this forum. The last time I took my truck to the closest RAM dealer for a dreaded software upgrade, they had to keep it overnight. When I picked it up the next day, I noticed everything I had in it had disappeared. GPS, walkie-talkies I used with my trailer, tools, sunglasses, and a host of little things. Haven't been back. I called another Ram dealer, told the service writer about my problem - and the age and mileage of my truck, and after looking it up on his computer told me a new sensor would be covered under my (long-expired) warranty. Too good to be true, I thought, but decided to take it to them. Sure enough, their tester got the same code as mine, and they replaced the PM sensor at a total cost of $0.00. Finally, some positive ED news!!
