I have a 2016 ED Ram, with almost 39K miles on it.  I know, not very many.  I got a CEL, and with my handy-dandy CEL tester, determined it to be P24AE.  That translates to Particle Matter Sensor."  I deleted the CEL, and it came back, so I started investigating on this forum.  The last time I took my truck to the closest RAM dealer for a dreaded software upgrade, they had to keep it overnight.  When I picked it up the next day, I noticed everything I had in it had disappeared.  GPS, walkie-talkies I used with my trailer, tools, sunglasses, and a host of little things.  Haven't been back.  I called another Ram dealer, told the service writer about my problem - and the age and mileage of my truck, and after looking it up on his computer told me a new sensor would be covered under my (long-expired) warranty.  Too good to be true, I thought, but decided to take it to them.  Sure enough, their tester got the same code as mine, and they replaced the PM sensor at a total cost of $0.00.  Finally, some positive ED news!!
