Hey all. Over the past 4-5 days I’ve noticed an exhaust smell in the cab. It started over the weekend, and now I can also hear a bit of a deeper exhaust sound under throttle, and a lot more of a whooshing intake/turbo sound that wasn’t there before. I seem to still be getting full boost 24-25 lbs on an Edge monitor but it feels laggy under the first bit of throttle. No DTCs have popped up and I ran a full regen yesterday afternoon. I haven’t been able to spend much time under the hood or under the truck as it’s been raining for 4 days straight, but does anyone know where I need to start looking to figure this out? I am EGR deleted. It almost seems like it’s the exhaust immediately post-turbo, as it’s stinky, pre-DPF and urea smelling exhaust. (Old school diesel exhaust smell). And I can tell in the cab that the sound is coming from right in front of me, and to the right, and we know the turbo is nearly under the dash. Thanks for the help.
