Replacing Crank Sensor in EcoDiesel

Hello-I bought a used 2015 with 118,000 miles a month ago-come to find out the Crank sensor shit the bed over the weekend-what a piss poor set up-Im a Harley mechanic, and a cps on that is nothing-YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION to replace this simple sensor !! WTF. Is anybody aware of a recall, or a way to get some assistance from Dodge for this crappy engineering ???

You must think no one cares lol!
The fact is, it looks like the sensor setup is another one of the standard issues with the engineering behind VM that supplies the 3.0
