I got the same issue: "Service Electronic throttle", no codes. Truck lost power and barely can reach 40-50 m/h. I used Alfa OBD to monitor Accelerator pedal position D and E readings. Sensor E changes from 0 to 4574 mV, Sensor D changed polarity after about 80% of pedal position, from 6549 mV to -6548 mV. Hopefully, this is just accelerator pedal itself and not something more serious and expensive...
Just happened recently on my 2014 Ecodiesel. The ECM was fried and cost over $1500 for repair. 2 year warranty with unlimited mileage at the dealership that did the work.
gen 3 engine stage 2 tune. When cold return turbo line blows off get same throttle warning and limp mode.. obviously no boost ..so ecm sez limp. Reatttach line obd remove throttle code... no issues runs great.
Sounds like either ecm or turbo good luck ...
