Just re-set the APPS, by unplugging it when running and shutdown , restart plug it back in , shutdown go to ACC/RUN do not start clear code and see what happens, You will need Alfa or WITech to remove Service electronic throttle control.

That failed big time now my cel is on and it won’t shift outta gear!

CEL is on for what? ,this has been done many times without issues.
All this procedure does is re-set the APPS to learn mode, that's it. I would repeat and see what happens.

Clean your map sensor my check engine came on went to check code it went out then two starts later everything was clear drove it 2000 miles since with no problems

trust me. you've likely not seen the last of it. I was where you guys are a couple years ago, now it's every quarter mile. changed every sensor and brake and pedal, no good. truck is not driveable now unless loud turboless limp mode is acceptable.

Only time I have seen "service electronic" etc and I am fully deleted gen 3 including banks intake..is when I have turbo boost leak...? either before or after cooler...

When my truck had 20k on it the throttle code came up. Took to the dealer and he changed air filter and cleared code and it never came back on. I wouldn't have believed it but he said that was the procedure and it worked. So I change my air filter at 20 k now and going to start changing the fuel filter at 10k cause it's recommended after high pressure pump change.

After wrestling this for months, I'm starting to think it was a BP selling me a bunch of water at the bottom of their underground tank. I was filling and the pump kept shutting off. So stopped at 5 gallons and was going to go on my way. the truck cranked and cranked, wouldn't start, till it did after a while. Never started the same again. I had changed my fuel filter, kept having intermittent problems and SETC. As I'd used increasingly more Diesel Kleen water remover when tank is low then adding fuel it's getting a lot better but still popping on. But miles, maybe 20, vs feet as in 500 sometimes when it was worst. Just throwing this out there for people. Truck always started instantaneously, like throwing a switch. Now it turns over like most other cars, sounds different, take a little longer. All since that night with the bad fuel. that's when the code got increasingly more frequent till it was just ridiculous and couldn't keep it off. who knows though, maybe cuz I didn't get the SETC off with alfa. Bought alfa again would love to try deleting it the right way and see if I'm free of it.

The bypass was engaged you pump 5 gallons of contaminated fuel in tank... Your entire fuel system will likely to be replaced. Remove FCA and check if it looks like this.

thanks for the insight. that's the bypass you're holding? where is that located? what characteristic exactly am I looking for when I get that piece out to tell me if it's fubar'd or salvageable?

yes, been very worried it destroyed the whole system. would that be my injectors on back?

Its the FCA ( Fuel control Actuator ) it located rider side front of the engine ,Two 27TQ bolts it on the CP4, two wire connection.

Did you get issue resolved?Have same delete but EOC...Only time I have seen "service e throttle" is when turbo return cold was iss ue..Fixed and Alpha reset fine..Anyone viewing this thread 2018+ will require the By-pass Module for the SGM.

I have same delets plus manifold..Only EOC..Have seen same "warning only when problem with turbo cold air return..into limp..Fixed, used alpha to reset..No problem ..
