Human perception. To each his own. Ecodiesels are demanding high prices in my neck of the woods. It might be different for you?

Unfortunately rams have terrible resale values as it is hemi ,v6 ,and eco . eco diesel has a bad rep already. Our trucks are very undesirable with this engine. Very few 2019 -20 sitting on dealer lots as stock. And trade in? Worth less than a hemi smh...

The used car price guides all list the ED at about 2 grand more than the hemi for trade-in value. Most people/buyers have no clue about any issues with the ED. Most don't visit forums. You can also search and find much praise for this little powerhouse.

Ram has always sold more hemis than ED's since 2014. That's not unusual. I'm S.E. PA and they're desirable to the best of my knowledge and yes there are way more hemis.

Last time I checked Coon Rapids Chrysler is selling 250 Gas 1/2 ton to every 1 2018 Eco.

As of Now 171 1500s on the pavement ALL Gas, so the ED around here at 0 demand .

20 Used 1500 and O ED.

Within 150 miles Radius their are 88 2018 EDs , 4,169 2019 Gas 1500s in the same 150 miles on Dealer pavement, That's 47 to 1 Ratio.

Those 18 leftovers are goona be 2 years out Sept 1 , and that will make them clearance Vehicles for any Dealer.

Obviously Ram produces more hemis than ED's. It's safe to say the gas is more desirable. My beef is with saying the ED is "undesirable". Less desirable would be more accurate.

I won't argue what's the case in your area but I will say if there are 0 used ED's that tells me owners must think they are desirable enough to keep them.

I hope it's good to go once deleted. These trucks are amazing. Diesels in general are less desirable until you get into the heavy duty sector.
