Finally took the truck in after three months of P203 code popping every 20-70 miles.
Didn't know the cost, but was ready to pay.
They did a diagnostic, need to replace the DPF filter, O2 Sensor, Catalytic Converter, DEF Sensor and DEF tank.
About four years ago I agreed to allow the ECU reflash because the swirl valve went out in the intake manifold.
Turns out the extended warranty was due to expire January 15, 2026.
They are also covering a 1500 Ram rental.
That's around $20,000 in repair costs, not counting the rentals.
Skipping the original $4,000 settlement just paid.
I have 131,000 miles, the codes just started a few months ago, and the new work would have been out of my pocket.
Whew.....

Let me re-write that. Sorry that it's true tbh. I went with the advice of our local diesel gurus. Not sure how deletes are these days in the USA?

They did a diagnostic, need to remove the DPF filter, O2 Sensor, Catalytic Converter, DEF Sensor and DEF tank.
And do a ECU tune to add 40 more ponies which handles the straight pipe that bypasses the entire lot.
