Trying to get my truck inspected…

I recently bought an eco diesel with 200k miles and knowing it would need help. Right now I have p200a/b p2d2d/e and p2455 and had p2453/4 but they’re gone.

My dad bought obd2 link scanner and we’ve been keeping an eye on the codes. We’ve also noticed that a lot of the things it reads are very eradicate. For example, the engine temp will be -40 and then it’ll be 6000 degrees. This makes 0 sense. My dad suspects that this might be a ground issue. We’ve cleaned a few of them but not all.

The truck currently has an aftermarket intake manifold and has had the EGR replaced recently. The fuel lines haven’t been changed. We have the original intake manifold and are thinking of cleaning it and putting it back in but don’t want to dump time and money into something that isn’t the problem.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what to do next that would be much appreciated.
