Turbo coolant hose leaking

I have a coolant leak coming from somewhere around the turbo. I'm sure it is the hose under the intake manifold part 68242889AA. I don't have the intake manifold off yet, but there is nothing else it can be. Is it possible to replace the rubber piece of hose with something stronger, rather than buying the part from FCA and risking having the same problem again? Any suggestion as to what size and type of hose I can use that will last longer than what is there. This is on my wife's 2014 Jeep with 160,000 miles on it.

I got it apart earlier this week. Its tough to get the manifold out even after all the bolts are removed. I'm sure there are a few tricks to it. The Turbo cooling hose runs from the block to the top of the turbo, and the bolt holding it to the turbo is blocked by the oil hose. I was able to disconnect and move the oil hose just enough to get a short socket on the cooling hose. If I ever have to do another one, I'll probably leave the cooling hose end on the turbo, and install and clamp the rubber hose in place. The engine block side of the cooling hose was easy to remove.

I ordered a piece of HPS brand 3/8 rubber hose. It is supposed to be good for 350F and 80psi. The best I could find local was Gates Barricade good for 225 PSI and 275F. The rubber hose is Otiker clamped to the metal pieces so it should be easy to change.

Pacer, I'm curious, did you have the AEM recall installed on your 2014 Jeep? I did and I believe I am experiencing this same problem as you (I have 175K miles on my jeep).
