I'm also interested in your thoughts on the GDE tune. I'm ready to order one but I want to keep my stock ECM for a spare and I'm struggling to drop the extra $650 to do so.

Loving the GDE, I highly recommend. Changes the truck for the better, plus the 2-3 MPG bump isn't bad either.

If you don't want to spend the extra $650 you can pick a brand new one for under $300 on EBay then take it to your dealer and have it flashed. It's is a worth while upgrade.

Has anybody done that before, asking the dealer to flash a stock ECM?
