Ok so Ive been talking with Sofa King Tune (SFT) regarding my 2016 Ram Eco-Diesel and I have the stage 1 Engine Tune w/touchscreen in my shopping cart.
$499 ECM without Touchscreen
$649 ECM with Touchscreen
$900 ECM - TCM with Touchscreen
Then if you use code BYEBYE2020 you get 21% off.
So I’m doing the ECM stage 1 tune with Touchscreen egr off for now and it comes to a total of $534.56 after 21% off and add back in $21.85 for shipping.
I dont work for these guys or anything. Just sharing some info because I’ve been on the fence about getting a tune for my 2016 Eco-Diesel.
Long live our Eco Diesel’s

No just went with the engine tune for now. Maybe get the tranny Tune when I get some more extra cash. I’ll see how the engine tune performs. Haven’t received it yet.

I'm running on about 50/50 DEF & distilled water, I'm gonna try leaning out the DEF even more, I've read that 10% will work. My oil looks much cleaner too.

Now listen closely 2014-16 have common Urea Sensor you can run down to 2-3% Urea 97-98% Distilled water, 2017-19 are likely Just rebadged 2017-18, But....... I have not check if the Sensor was changed like the 2500-3500s (Quality Urea Senor) that have the sensor and it Triggers codes at 22% or less Urea. So that means 2.5 Gallons DEF to 1 Gallon DS that puts you at 24% code and error free.

Do you know down to what temperature 24% urea mixture would be safe at ?

So if I have a 2016 what your saying is I can run more distilled correct based on the common sensor ? Or run 50/50.

50/50. I never said 50/50. would be an incredible Rich ..Mixture. all def that certified is 33% urea 67% water. Now if you want to mix 1 gallon of def to 1 gallon of distilled water that's fine and anything 2013 to 16 or even less Def.You can mix 3 gallons of distilled water to every one gallon of def

I put 4 gallons of DS in & it filled the DEF TANK, I later added another gallon of water, I'll probably add another gallon of DS soon and the add some DEF, I wanna get enough empty jugs to mix the way I want, maybe around 75 % DS. I'm the one that said 50/50. I'm in southwestern Arizona, we rarely get below freezing, and only have 100 days or so above 110.

Cavemann, Mix 2-3 Gallons DS to every Gallon 1 Gallon DEF, Your DEF Pump/Injector will outlive the engine.

I ran My 2015 ED for 4.25 Years at 90/10% DS/urea, My CC Trucks for Over 10 Years. I Know of others going on 500K+ miles DEF problems free at 90/10+- on other Trucks, Like I said, I tested the ratio's down to 90/10 DS/Urea My best calculations that Ratio meets CAA AVG driving (NO Dart Driving) near NOx. It really makes no difference, it still freezes.

Common urea sensor Just detects Nitrogen/Urea so even the singles digit % are pickup. I don't know what sensor 2017+ ED have and I'm not going to waste my time to find out ,IMO 4 Years of complete cluster QC at Cento, any who buy one 2017+ get no sympathy from Me, You on your own, The 2014-16 Buyers have been deceived Big Time Fiat/VM co-hoarded America with the 3.0VM.
