CFT can around 10k miles. But it doesn't catch 100% blow-by, but better than nothing. I'm looking for a better can with a brass filter inside. Something under $150. I'm also running GDE hot tune. Never any CEL.
Eliminates 2-1 downshift hesitation at low speed tip-in maneuvers (i.e. rolling stop sign re-acceleration)
• Upshifts earlier in all conditions for improved fuel economy.
• Downshift criteria revamped to best utilize engine torque curve and stay in each gear longer.

If doing a lot of towing, I'd suggest GDE trans tune. Love the way my truck tows with the engine and transmission tuned by GDE. With great customer support too. ✌️
My trailer brakes went out the other day. When I hooked up the trailer to the truck all lights worked but truck is saying there's no trailer brake connected.
When I had my 2004 5.9 sometimes the brakes on the trailer would pop a fuse. But I can't seem to locate a trailer brake fuse. I did check...
I also have an '18 with 18k miles. GDE hot tune and GDE tranny tuned since 600 mile mark. I did get a recall notice for the tailgate issue. Runs and drives awesome. And living in Florida, I use distilled water only in my DEF tank. Still no issues. ✌️
Just installed the stage 1. I have 3200 total miles but also installed the GDE hot tune at 600 miles. So the EGR has been shut off since the 600 mile mark. Pic of my swirl values.
On Sept 11 as I pulled into my driveway my stereo said there was an update available. So of course I pushed update. 20 minutes later it was finished. I don't have the Nav. Now it sounds like crap. Like all the treble is gone. I've rechecked the equalizer, the treble is at max and still sounds...
1500 miles on my 2018 ED. Put a GDE tune on at 600 miles. I love this truck. Before this truck, I drove a 2004 DD with 5.9. It had 390k miles and still ran perfectly. Long live the ED.
