Hello all, I have a 2017 1500 ecodiesel with 330,000km and is deleted. I pull a 23.5ft holiday trailer quite a bit. I backed up the truck and trailer and it started sputtering and stalled. The check engine light came on and showed P0036 and U1401 codes. I cleared them and it was running...

Update, it was the windshield... Although it wasn't cracked it was quite pitted and when I changed it, the auto dimming was working again...

I have my truck in at the dealership for them to do it. Either the cab has to come off or the transmission needs to be taken out to get at it... It was quoted $1600 for labor and bolts and gaskets. A new manifold was $1200 so I'm having them put in the used one I bought for $80...

Hello All, I have a 2017 Laramie ecd with auto dimming Headlights. They worked fine until now, they don't switch to dim when a vehicle is oncoming. They do switch to dim when I slow down (roughly 20km/hr). I looked for the fuse but the fuse diagram pointed to a vacant spot in the fuse block...

Hey Gary, sorry to hear of your troubles. I believe everything that TC said about mine. I believe it was the pressure relief and not the pressure sensor, but I did change the pressure sensor because I already purchased it... The mechanic had to cut off his wrench, I think it was 1 1/8", so...

Update: I bought a Pedal Commander and it made the CEL stay off for quite a while, I was having the fuel rail pressure sensor code coming up. It would still come on but much much less. What an awesome difference it made in the fuel pedal lag that I was experiencing!!! I highly recommend PC for...

Update: I installed a Pedal Commander and after about 30km travel, the CEL went off by itself and hasn't came back on yet. I have driven about 400km since and cleared the stored code with my scanner and no CEL. Driving in town made the CEL come on the quickest previously and I am happy to say...

Suggestions on fixing it? Sounds like I may have to take it to a dodge mechanic...

Thanks TC! I took the cover and foam off. I put dielectric grease on the connections and still get the code for fuel rail pressure sensor A... Dodge wanted $1100 to change the RPS or $452 for just the part. I got the part for $230 through a friend and am hoping that will fix the reoccurring...

Hey all, just wondering if there are any special tools required to change the fuel rail pressure sensor on the passenger side? I talked to a mechanic and he said that the injector lines had to be removed and weren't reusable... And he mentioned that there were specialty tools required...
