I also had the P026d-00 code. My Diagnostic tool(Autel MaxiCom MK808BT) described the problem as "Fuel quantity higher than expected". I thought to myself "oh crap" I had just done an egr tube clean and map sensor...I should have used new gaskets. My Bad. Bought the parts and put it back...
I had the same problem. Long story short the dealers are clueless as to where the coolant is going. None of it is on the ground and they don't do a test to see if combustion gases are in the coolant system. Your truck could possibly be something simple and that would be great for you.
But if it...
That's exactly right. I have read horror stories of how some truck owners have had to wait months for back-ordered parts.
When I bought this truck it was a "Lemon law buy-back". The dealer bought back the truck from Dodge after Dodge installed a new transmission and a new radiator. Now it also...
The truck was in the dealers shop for 35 days from 5 attempts at stopping a coolant loss. I raised hell with FCA and they determined that it was cheaper to swap out the engine than it was to find out why the brand new heads they installed did not stop the coolant loss. Go figure.
Hi All
It is great to find this site that I'm sure will be a great source of information on the workings of my 2015 Ecodiesel truck. My truck has had multiple coolant loss problems that resulted after much headaches in having a new engine installed under the original factory warranty
. All is...
Hey NC-Ram
Is there a YouTube video or something on how to clean the EGR tube? I kinda hate that this engine can get fouled by recirculating all this carbon back into the engine. It sounds like you haven't had any issues because you are keeping up with the preventive maintenance to avoid...
Dude thats crazy B.S. to have to go through. Mine was loosing antifreeze and after 5 months and then replacing everything to no avail they put in a new engine. If the dealer hasn't opened a star case with chrysler call chrysler and force them to control the actions of the dealer. On mine they...
I am a farrier and I had high hopes when I bought this truck for my work vehicle. I have 50,151 miles on my 2014 tradesman model ecodiesel. It's has been a terrible truck and Chrysler customer service has been even worse. At around 20,000 miles I think. I began seeing oil in the coolant and...
