Or try and find a freeway to keep steady driving but if I'm almost where I wanna go, I just finish once there. Then let it idle till temps are back down under 400 and shut down
Once its starts a regen, you only have 30sec of idle time before it stops again, so you drive, quick park and maintain 1500 to 1800rpm and it will stay active till it completes. Works good for me anyway
I don't have the tune myself, but with tow/haul mode on, the trans does shift down sooner if you lightly apply the brakes and that helps with the braking
This works to monitor quite a few things but the only real way I found to check if it's in regen is to monitor dpf exhaust temp. It has a emissions status but no way to read it while driving as it's too small. If it goes up over 1000 then you know its active. But, you say you tow your RV. You...
If the DEF tank isn't on empty, then obviously it has issues with the system. The def injector can clog and can be cleaned, then run your system at 50/50 DEF and distilled water to prevent it from happening again. 2015 doesn't have a DEF quality sensor so that works
I use bluedriver as well, but I'm curious as to what faults you are experiencing?
Now I did notice that the app needs to be closed when truck is shut off as it doesn't automatically reconnect on start up if left running.
Sounds like a low voltage situation to me, unless you already replaced the battery with a fully charged battery. Check the connections for corrosion or looseness
I haven't experienced the crankshaft position sensor failure yet, so I'm not sure if this falls into that category or not.
Again, did it quit while running, or just not starting?
You don't give many details about age and mileage but very unlikely that it's the alternator and acting like that.
Something electrical in the starting system is the place to start looking
If the delivery truck has the wrong product in the compartment that the driver thinks is diesel then he will still put it in that diesel tank if it's more than a hundred yards away!
Fuel settles to the bottom which is ĺikely why you would have got so far and it wouldn't be the first station to accidentally have gas put into the diesel tank
