Interesting, on my 2014 if I'm close to home and it's in active regen I'll gear down to keep rpms up till I stop in park and then quick rev to 1500rpm again and maintain that till it's done. Doesn't need neutral or park brake on mine.
Is it good in your eyes? Some have rave reviews on using everything and anything but it depends on what you put your mind to. I'm sure a product with a cetane boost could help with a cleaner burn and a little lubricity won't hurt.......
Hi, welcome to the forum!
Sounds like you had been fortunate with the ED so far.
Have you had it repaired already? Theres threads around with the same problem and sometimes it was caused by a faulty sensor not reading nox levels properly. But I don't have experience, good luck!
Hi ya all.
Just curious if anyone else has made this observation? I just recently got a bluedriver and as soon as regen starts egr position goes to zero
Welcome to the forum!
Mine the DEF was filled at purchase, and still well over half after 3500 mile so it depends on operating conditions. Don't fill it right to the top. Especially in the winter as it expands when it freezes
Welcome!
Let me guess, you found too good a deal to pass up, as the dealer had it sitting on the lot for awhile now that most look the other way when they see "ecodiesel"?
That's what I did last Feb and it had the lower fuel door froze shut as well and lots of snow and ice inside the "sealed"...
Hi, and I assume you plugged it in and it worked after it was set up with no problems? Wish I had the factory one but I had a controller from previous truck so just bought the adapter harness to switch it over to the current truck, and it worked ok

Thanks, that's how I read the manual as well but didn't know if FCA has some hidden clause with operating conditions.
I'm still at 67% oil life after 10 month so I guess it doesn't compensate for length of time!
Hi, I'm obviously not an owner that chose a diesel for longevity but appreciate its thriftiness and low end torque. But.....if I only put on 7000km in a year is an annual oil change going to suffice?
Thanks guys, I recently got a Bluedriver obd reader and its sure helpful to know a little more about some of those operating parameters, dpf temp being the big one to know when it's doing a regen and your almost at your destination!
Hi everyone, have been reading up on lots of good info. Still enjoying my 2014 eco slt 4x4 crew (with katzin leather) after almost a year as its treated me well so far. Still stock at 85k miles and not interested in the AEM yet at this point. Thanks and keep it up!
