The truck didn't do too bad, but it's very high profile. I was under 10mpg really chugging along. Cooling system handled the load fine but engine load you really could tell it was up there in rpms. Pretty sure in the next 2 months the delete is happening too which should help
Got this rig last week, 30ft ice castle fish house 5th wheel.
A little shy of 8k (think the sticker says 7280 empty). Just got the truck set up for 5th wheel last night and towed it to work this morning, temps were all good 62ish MPH, beast of a Trailer though probably a strict 55 tow...
(y) @Ofishl1 I totally forgot the exception of a mopar dealership outfitted and installed lift kit being the only Warranty exception to suspension etc. Good catch
Hope this isn't too late but you can actually get the 2500/3500 tow mirrors that also have the power fold, will use your same wiring and door switch. For whatever reason power fold tow mirrors were available for 3/4 ton or better but not on the half ton trucks. So just find the 2500 power fold...
Finally got around to setting the links and having it aligned. Went 1.5" in the front so there is no rake. I thought about leaving 0.5" but figured if I want I can lift the back a little without feeling like the front is diving in the future. before:
The factory 20" Tire is actually a 33, the 33x12.5 flotation Tire is just wider, it will not give you any more profile to the sidewall. Options are also limited in those, and factory size lt tires.
I went to a 275/65 series Tire (34" or up to 34.4" as some MT treads), which is standard 20" Ford...
Dealer explained once there is water in the system the compressor rusts and at that point it's shot, get a new compressor, excavation and nitrogen fill. If your system is properly functioning at any given time, just pull the f4 fuse that blows and disable the compressor. It will function as...
Yes, the computer will automatically delay starting with remote start. Also if you have push to start it will always delay cranking when necessary without you having to wait for anything.
Amazon, eBay, and diesel Filters online all seem to have them about 23$ now which is great. And as @Brokedownbutgood stated, there's no need for special wrenches. I use a gallon bucket or bottom of washer fluid container set on the drive shaft, and a standard oil filter strap wrench to break it...
Do you have the factory 20" rims @Dcullen ?
If so go to 65 series Tire, it is an lt Tire not passenger and you have unlimited options with the 10ply rating
Definitely if a guy could run antifreeze it'd be a no brainer if I get back into problem mode yet this winter it may be on my list of things to try. other option would require adding a dryer to the system not sure how ridiculous that would be to do.
I'll second that question, aside from a truck not depreciating quite as bad, I personally don't understand why one has a full size truck but can just as easily have an awd midsize sedan.. 2 very different things
As expected, everything functioning perfect today at 35F. It bothers me that it is finicky when cold. Spent too Damn much money for that on a 3 year old vehicle
Well I got a p249c code last weekend, and that 4.5 gallons of def never showed on the gauge so with it down to 1/8 tank (I figured about 1000 miles from a 500 mile no start code?), being my only day off and 150 miles a day for Work I fought my way into a dealership. there was a tsb related to if...
