    Hello from E. Washington!

What he is asking is if the 2014 wrangler is diesel (dsl). These engines HATE short trips and dart driving due to their emission components

    EGR Recall

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your experience, but you are lucky your dealer will even touch it. There are stories of dealers refusing to take an eco into their shops. Hopefully they got you straight!

    Adding navigation to 8.4!

Just an FYI if your Ram doesn’t have Navi, until the end of august you can purchase and add it for 440$ instead of $520~!! Easy to add and the site has step by step directions

Fuse location for dash power outlet

Most likely it’s under the hood in that fuse panel. They got creative with how the wiring is routed. One of mine was in the cab and the other was under the hood lol

    Potential new owner

Welcome! At this point I would advise against it, unless it comes with a goooooood warranty. A decent set of tires is 1k plus, brakes and rotors could potentially be 1k, depending on if rotors are are up, quality of pads, and so on, and body work adds up quickly. The fact you smell coolant...

    Lift bags question.

welcome! I have installed the bags also. Are they red or black? I believe the red is max 25psi the black one is 50psi. I leave 50 in mine since I frequently pull and don’t feel like adjusting but it’s recommended 5-10psi full time at least.

    Oil dip stick

I run 11 quarts in mine… better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it! Lol but honestly 11 quarts seems to be the sweet spot to hug the top of the full line in my 2014.

Diesel fumes in cab / 2014 Eco Diesel.

Welcome! Did it throw any codes? Is it deleted? There was a recall on a certain set of trucks for that issue but I think it was only the 2wds

    Incorrect def fluid detected message

Welcome! What year is your truck?

    TPMS Module

It says they use frequencies… I wonder if the radio is getting interference. Who knows. Also says there should be a relearn button on the truck somewhere

What's the best ecodiesel tune today for "EGR shutoff" but keeping equipment installed?

In my case they were a little further than stock but dpf usage went up

    TPMS Module

That’s all you can do! These new trucks cram so much crap into a small package that fixing them is pissing in the wind

    TPMS Module

If it’s just that specific location of tire, I wonder where the pickup spots for the sensors are and if you could clean up the connection.

    Firrun 2015 Ecodiesel 110,000 miles

    Glow plug

They make a tool which was used on my #4 to remove broken glow plug. It’s similar to the tool used on Ford triton engines for the broken spark plugs.

    2017 Ram ED

Welcome! I’m not too familiar with goose neck setups. I believe the ratings on these trucks are 7000-7700 pounds depending on your gear ratio and 2wd or 4wd. This rating should be listed on your sticker on your drivers door, or possibly on the door jamb. I can’t remember where mine is but I’ll...
