Make that GDE,I didn’t know we had a English teacher on the site, LOL.

Now I WISHED I had bought the a extra ECM before all this started with the EPA killing all the aftermarket tunes.

I was BLESSED to get a tune from GDE the week after Labor Day .

Ram changed it to 5-40, a lot of people are using Shell Rotella . I use Amsoil 5-40 Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil.

These engines or hit and miss, some have trouble’s and some don’t . There are some on this site who have over 200,000 miles on the truck with zero problems.

Thanks, I emailed GDE this morning but their responses to my e-mail was that their site was at idle for now. That they would respond back to my email as soon as they get some issues worked out.

Ok, I have a 2016 Ram with 37K on it. I run nothing but Amsoil synthetic. And I plan to drive it until it dies.

So do you drive less than 10 K miles a year?.

Which one are you guys changing your oil by, The dash EVIC tells me to change to oil around 8600 miles. The owners manual states the oil can be changed at 10k miles. I have never been able to go 10k between oil changes. I would just like to know how most are changing their oil.

I have a 2016 bighorn 4x4, with 37K on it. I just added the GDE engine tune 110 miles ago. I had the Regen message and Turbo break exhaust options installed on the tune. A little pricey but my gas mileage went up to 30 miles per gallon on the interstate if you drive 65 to 70 mph. Well worth...
