Yes, if you motor in fact fails while tuned, it will void your warranty. The question is, will Ram go that far to check if it was tuned? Some have experienced that, others have not.
Any tuning has this risk though, not just GDE.
It should only show if you're at the limit and the truck is warning you to let it complete. If you haven't seen it in awhile, I would think your driving habits are better and you're allowing the truck to regen like it should.
I'm not just talking about forums. I mean all of social media.
I well into diesel scene with friends, races and even truck pulls. TO THIS DAY, I've not heard of 1 L5P injector issue.. much less something you want to bring up as a "Issue".
That's my biggest complaint with your statement, and...
Sorry, I'm part of all Duramax forums/groups/social anything and I've never once had a red flag raised on L5P Injectors. It's a solid motor.. The CP4 as found in the LML is somewhat of an issue, but even then it's nothing to be alarmed about unless your higher mileage.
Not harder, shops love to take advantage of a diesel, and up charge for it. Everything you need to know about oil changes:

Welcome! I think we have a few here, but the biggest gain for a EcoDiesel is a full tune to help with potential issues down the road.
We've got a ton of threads on that here: https://www.ecodieselram.com/forum/forums/ecodiesel-performance.28/
