20k miles and I think I've put in 3x2.5gal adBlue jugs and 8$ from the truck stop at 2.79/gal. Have a hair under half a tank. That's lifetime. Not bad. Like you said it's not enough to count the pennies on
When you're 2 hours from the nearest truck stop with DEF on tap but only 5 minutes from case IH? I think I'll try and bug them.
And I intermittently add to my DEF tank because I usually use the 2.5gal jugs and just throw one in when it's around half. I've only done on tap once but Case should...
I agree my drivers seat is stretched to all hell and looks like shit. I just haven't gotten into the battle with the dealer regarding it yet.
It seems to be an isolated issue with the ventilated seats and ongoing since this generations release with the feature
I've heard the prairie Pearl to be difficult to match and I've seen white gold with leer completely fail to match as well as white. But your cap looks good.
One thing I don't care for with the leer is it seems to have a pretty big gap between the cab which I never understood
I agree but I'm unsure how it'll handle the dog hair. I'm pretty happy being able to blow out the bed liner even when I had the cap. I could see the bed rug being much more of a hassle in that case.
Glad to hear it's all fixed up. I guess I got lucky with my late 15 and missed the axle lot that caused the recall. At least it's not known equipment with the recall for my truck anyways.
Lucky you didn't experience a total failure and lose a wheel.
I've never played with it enough to use it. I've acknowledged that it's there but with previous uconnect problems reading the phone and or truck I just gave up with the app. It's easier for me to use my own Google Nav from the phone or plug in music without the connectivity
Not by much. The ballast might be ok, my resistors are fine I think. But the igniter and bulb are obviously shot. It demolished the entire housing of the lamp
Yeah if tank burst was a serious possibility it'd have a fail safe to only ever be 3/4 full or it'd be a terrible consumer case. I never thought twice about a tank burst scenario. My only concern regarding the DEF was the amount of time it takes to thaw
Hence why people with short commutes have so many issues. One it's high soot points then you have 8 gallons of frozen fluid that is only thawed by your coolant lines. How long does it take for a 160-200 degree line to thaw an 8 gallon tank? Sure bet it exceeds a 5 mile commute where the truck...
I had a similar plan for a low temp silicone heat pad that won't melt the tank but would help. I just never got to it before winter. Next year I guess. And yes the idea is to basically have a triple tap inside the bumper and then I have a retractable extension cord inside my bumper coming out of...
Yeah merry Christmas was exactly how I felt. Couldn't stop it from happening. It was rough.
It'll be a while with the holidays and fender Benders. Lots of body damage. New Hood, fender, flare, door skin. Bumper valance. Amazingly my grill is undamaged.
No the deer did a pretty good job removing it completely. I just unplugged the last chunk with the turn signal and my hid ballasts. That was all that was left.
This was pretty much right after it happened.
