Hopefully you’re still active. I’m also in Ontario. Anyway you have that shop info? (Message me if possible) I just did MR tuning (stage 2) last week full delete with exhaust. Cut all sensors from downpipe on. Didn’t touch egt#1 sensor. Since the tune deactivates all the other sensors and they...
...stressful and I didn’t know what I wanted to do for sure. From my understanding, every company recommends removing EGR. I understand there is tuning that can “turn off the EGR”, however, when I removed mine, you will see why you want to remove it. The amount of gooey suit build up was...
The only reason I suggest EOC is the truck does not need to have hardware removed to stop the EGR.
I talked to Mr.Tuning the company that supplies the tuning to EOC and maybe thats the route to go???.
Having a really hard time figuring this out.
And yes I reviewd the last few reviews of EOC on...
Explosive Diesels is who I went through for a full delete and tunes. They are amazing with customer service, it was easy to do, and their products are second to none. EOC products got stuck in customs for 3 months. I asked for a refund and they said no. They told me the only solution was...
EOC is the only game in town for full delete tuning.
Yes customer service is terrible, yes looking for support terrible.
But there tuning seems solid.
Torn between GSE none delete and EOC.
They have a facebook page with much more info.
In most cases after deleting, "Service Electronic Throttle Control" (NO MIL) was not handle correctly in the Delete Tuning... Also check all connections under the hood and Dash.
...over and shut off for 3-4 min, pulled drain plug - no metal, replaced cooler lines along w/ new oil and filter, same oil pressure and still no metal - engine saved.
- Tuning: It is widely recommended to have your truck tuned to reduce soot, get better MPG, have more power, and longer engine...
I have been using Lucas fuel conditioner almost from day one after purchasing my 2016 ED . A friend has a 80s dodge he bought new and has been using it every fill. He now has over a million miles on it. Obviously it’s a Cummins but that sold me when he was a 750,000. So I am at 112,000 on my...
...it, the GDE would be best. Does that sound right?
2. Is there any benefit to replacing or cleaning the diffuser tube and intake manifold after tuning? When my tone wheel went out, they replaced the intake, so it has about 40k mi on it.
3. If I go EOC, is there a downside to not removing the...
...it solved the lag. Recommend you add the regen and engine braking options. For those that live in U.S. states that require emissions testing, this is a compliant, great option when compared to deleting.

...But before that, I was dealing with GDE, they seemed to know what they are talking about. https://greendieselengineering.com/ecodiesel-tuning-performance-fuel-economy-gde/
Others say EOC (I am not sure but I think this is they-someone else may be able to confirm)...
...Day weekend. I sold my 2018 Larami ecodiesel with 120,000 miles on it no troubles I had a GDE tune on it and beat I got with that one was 30 mpg on same route to Nashville, seems the new one is a little more efficient and quieter it’s no pedal lag! As of right now I don’t plan on tuning this one!
