The new Ford is definitely new, but I don't much care for the look. I just find the Ram more subtle and it has the best available interior by far.
The only exceptions to all of this is the new limited model. Ram screwed up on that even if it is unique.
4 corner available air suspension on...
I'll look into it I had found all of the replacement mirrors previously. Even had the 3/4 ton power folding tow mirror upgrade. But you had to put in the switch if you were going from tow to power fold tow. If you had standard power folding it utilized the same button but upgraded to the moose...
Convenience group/pts solved this... always keep fob in pocket. If vehicle is running it'll lock on your way away from the vehicle automatically. Or push the button on the door handle to lock.
In your case I'd just get one of the quick push button key chain splitters and keep the fob on one...
Well I've had the tailgate trim replaced a a few times already. First time was completely stupid. Was hauling a couch with tailgate down. Maybe 65MPH and the wind catching in the sides broke the tabs for the tailgate cap. Dealer replaced without issue. Second time I was standing on bed side...
I'm sure many people will be in search of 2009-2015 tailgates is what I think.
The only feature that I like is the chrome strip for the "limited" and "4X4" on the lower part of the tailgate. That actually looks nice.
As for the rest? At least it's a limited only thing. And at least I got a 2015
I've got 14,000 miles put on over the summer and other than the coolant level dropping a little bit I haven't had any problems with my cooler.
Knock on wood. Must've got a good one.
The undercoating I got from the dealer seems to be applied pretty liberally it looks decent under there.
The package was lifetime warranty on rust/corrosion. I'm in Minnesota, rust happens and you can't stop it. But I figured it was worth the 1000$ to stick it to the dealer 6-8 years down the...
I'm on the exact same page as you are, and still on edge for the purchase but it's a 70% lean towards just getting the tune sooner ratified than later. 14k miles down since May, so I have similar feelings.
Let us know what GDE says please
That's just Info regarding they're paid feature. No Info if their regular tune deletes the factory one, or if they leave it alone?
See I understand how to trigger the factory engine brake though it is not from manually down shifting as their optional one is.
I don't want to purchase a hot tune...
I was amazed I actually jumped in my truck Sunday afternoon leaving Work and the block heater had the coolant temp at 116 it was just shy of 60 degrees outside but that's the highest I've ever seen it hit
That's a great question I'd like an answer to as well. If somebody has time to contact GDE with the question and follow up for everyone would be fantastic
Lol similar experience was not expecting it coming down a short but steep Hill. Never expected anything considering the comments about gde tune option being the only way to get an engine brake
Has anyone realized that the factory tune has an engine braking feature? Turbo braking specifically. But it only operates when the cruise control is on! It will drop gear and close the veins and engine brake. You will not Coast freely down a grade if you have your cruise control set.
