Just drive enough interstate (IE over ~50 MPH) for a decent distance to allow the truck to regen properly would be the only catch if you're use to a gas engine.
Welcome @Chiefwahoo !
Glad to have you here. Diesels are fun.. just take care of it and it should take care of you. Start reading around on the forums here, plenty of info to go around!
I would research the forums and see what people have to say.. you can also call each one ask your questions, then go with whoever you feel most comfortable with.
Welcome!
I would check the online sites (cargurus.com, cars.com, autotrader.com) etc to see some pricing figures. As always, have a read on our site so you can get more familiar with the EcoDiesel.
Welcome @kresdelcar
We've got numorous threads around the ETC problem. I'm not aware of one single solution to fix it at this time.
Here are some threads you can read up on: https://www.ecodieselram.com/forum/search/13082/?q=throttle+control&o=date
Hate to hear that @Nanooser . What was your oil change intervals? What oil did you run? Not that I think it matters but I'm curious. I'm assuming the truck was all stock with no engine tune or anything?
I've been traveling today so I didn't get a chance to catch this before it got out of hand. My apologizes.. but if you can't act like an adult, please don't post here.
Welcome James!
