Dingo, if you buy a drum will you use it fast enough to keep it fresh? I belive if you let it sit long enough it will separate. I am doing my oil changes at 5k. No way am I going 15k between oil changes.

I bought my Ecodiesel to pull my travel trailer. I pulled my trailer with my 2500 Hemi before and have not tried it with my 2015 yet. Curious how everyone is finding the towing capability of the Ecodiesel.

Just posting FYI so don't flame the messenger. Emissions equipment is federally mandated, it is not a state or county thing. Emissions TESTING is by state or county. Removal of emissions equipment is a federal offense in all states and carries heavy fines. If there is no testing where you live...

Good job Stan. I bought a similar travel trailer this past summer and pulled it with my '03. Will be interested to hear how your truck pulls your new trailer.

Didn't trade anything. Kept my 2003 2500 Heavy Duty Hemi with 4.10 gears. Love having both trucks. The ecodiesel is a nicer cruiser with way more bells and whistles. The '03 just does the heavy lifting now.

Update: problem fixed! Dealer found torn oring on boost pressure sensor. That and the reflashes on both the pcm and tcm have the truck running great!

Payload and tow capacity are different things. My travel trailer weighs 6400 lbs but only has 500 lb tongue weight. The ratings are dependent on cab style, 2wd or 4wd, gearing and trim. My 2015 SLT with a quad cab and 3.92 gearing is tagged at 9000lb towing. The charts are on the ram tow...
