Those mods at 1500diesel.XXX have had their head in the sand for 7 Years. They are so blinded you would think after 10000s members have left , maybe it would be a good Idea to see the light. Don't waste your time at XXX other then LOL at all the cheerleading. Even after VM cost Fiat $4Billion in...
They have drop in price it, just replace....The time it would take to clean out is not worst the cost to replace, You likely will find debris on intake ports in the head.
Its either no voltage to FCA/ LV or bad FCA / LV, Both are electronic devices, the FCA is located on top of the CP4 , the LV is located in front of Driver side Rail.
Its take at total of five minutes to Check Lift/feed Pump Pressure on any Ram 2014 to current (With gage)....NO....Need to guess, if the pressure does not spike to above 50PSI with ACC on until timed out, the truck will not Start, Why Because that's the minimum Pressure Needed to open the COV...

I've test many CP-1, 3,,4, 4.2, 6 Shafts there all 2+ - 2. Of 62 RW.. most of the time 62 dead on. RAM Cummins obviously had no trust in the CP4.2..Ram is replacing all 2019-20 6.7 Cummins with CP3 and all 2021+have CP3
Not on the VM 3.0 that I'm aware of...I've had many 300k+ and a few 500K mile CP4s on my bench...all that made 500K miles had auxiliary filtration...it's the only way to protect any pump from multi uses of poor fuel or the even 1 time use of contaminated fuel.
