Yep, but most people don't come on forums to brag on how good their EcoDiesel is either..but rather talk about the bad, so we have to account for that as well.. But I will agree, as far as diesels, it seems to be the most problematic modern diesel out right now, that's for sure.- BoostN

Welcome, sounds like the 6.4 might be your best option. The fuel mileage will not be good.. but 10K on the EcoDiesel is topping it out for sure if you tow that much often... something bigger would not hurt. The 6.7 is a great motor but you're going to pay that diesel premium up front.- BoostN

I don't think anyone can pinpoint what's causing the fires, so not sure if your proposal would make it less prone to going up in flames.. it will obviously run better though.. :D- BoostN

Welcome! You'll need to take the truck to the dealer so they can do a force regen to bring the soot level back down to an acceptable level so the truck can take back over as it normally would.- BoostN
