FCA cannot force Dealerships to perform work/repairs. FCA will authorize and reimburse the dealership for repairs/work.
I have not look into Hagens Berman compliant on engine failures.... Case 3 17-MD-02777-EMC FILED 11/9/17 SF CA, REPRESENTS INDIVIUALS.
2 17 CV 11633 ,FILED IN MI 5/23/17...
CS, its NOT in the settlement for FCA regulate Dealership Functions, If any Dealership refuses to cover the stated components, You can bring the matter before FCA, Most likely FCA will instruct to go to another Dealership, Your dispute is with the Dealership NOT FCA.
Hagen Berman did little for...
Correct, I verified this Yesterday...All Dealerships have the info on this, You should have No problem with this being covered in any competent Dealership.
The bed plate require precision assembly... I believed this was overlooked during R/D when the engine went into production it was to late to shutdown, the problem exploded when production was ramp up to meet demand.
I've spoke to experts in line production oversight, they all have the same...
The -5-40w has not stop the puking, 1000s of 3.0 failed running -5-40w after factory dump, most 2016+ had 5-40w OEM, No lube will make up for shoddy QC at Cento.
Regardless of what you use for tuning, New Motor is no better then the one that failed, XXX owners are on 3rd Motor, I know of 1 owner on 4th down in LA FCA did Buy back on 4th I think he's waiting on GM 1500 Diesel.
You should at least give the New motor some time before (Possibly) voiding...
Save your $$$ on the intake ,buy a good drop in. If the Factory intake was NOT sufficient you would find the filter in the compressor wheel.
If your going for the look its your $$$
I've have been running Banks Bullet for 4 Years May 21, its been error free, The Derringer and bullet are both the same power adder R/P. Pressure is the safest way to add power to HPCR, Most Tunes use this same principle when it comes to HP.
Adaptive strategies don't confirm well to power changes, IMO your better off setting it at honor power level and upgrading your foot for power and mileage.
Semi's build ash also pulling 50 times that amount, its the fact its stationary, NOT under load that cleans out the ash , its simply much hotter, Plus you are not creating soot. and it can last up to 40 minutes, My guess Active Regens time out after x lapsed use.
Because their still is ash in the DPF being pickup by the sensors (back pressure) , You probably need stationary De-sooting 2-3 Times to get the ash burnout, or NEW DFP. It takes someone with the work around to do it sufficiently ( WITech). or it just keeps coming back.
