I would imagine the truck's ECM had an update available, and they went ahead and hoped that will fix your issue. I wouldn't bet on it personally.. But yes, if they continue to say ECM I would make them replace it..

Sounds like the the DPF is shot, or obviously something isn't functioning correctly. I would push for a new DPF no doubt.

Not to my knowledge. I'm not sure if GDE or PPEI can either. Best to email each and ask.

I would read reviews, most love their PPEI and GDE tunes. It's all a matter of who you want to spend your money with.

I would advise to change dealers. If they can't give you answers, I would recommend finding one that can.
