The warranty in the US. is 100,000 miles just like the Cummings and not 100,000 klm. which is 62,000 miles because that's what we get in Canada just want to know if us up here are getting the usual screw job
anything that will lubricate the fuel pump and clean injectors like XP3 or Howe's Lubricator which I think keeps the egr tube clean and not caked with soot but I also run mostly hwy cause I live in the country
I have 75,000 klm. and no problems yet but I have the GDE program in since 50, 000 klm. and I cleaned the egr tube and map sensor and mass sensor and feel that the GDE program is the way to go also I always put additives with every fill. My average fuel mileage is around 8 to 10 litres to 100...
Thank you I will be removing mine and clean it too, my egr tube was carbon up but soft deposits so I only soaked it in gas blew it dry and put it back on . I got a fumoto valve to make oil changes easier and it sure saves a mess to clean up , I was so impressed that I got one for the wife's car too
I have the same ones except 10 ply truck tire on my 2015 ram and had to change the back ones because they were worn by about 50,000 klm. and put the front ones to the back and they were cupping but not as worn out and put some brand new ones in the front . The tire shop told me the cupping...
Yep that's what they sound don't lug it make her work you will see she will run better but don't over rev it as a habit but diesel are built to work and the better they run within reason
you buy a spray bottle that is specifically for map sensors or spray break clean on a QTIP and be gentle when rubbing the wires in your sensor clean that's what I do but yes every oil change would be a good habit to do it unless you don't hardly drive on gravel roads or you see your mileage...
Are you sure that what you cleaned is the map sensor because I thought the map sensor is located after the air filter in the tube which has a mechanical clamp holding on both sides to remove it I would like to see exactly where that part you removed is thank you
I have 70,ooo klm. bought it with 20,000 and no problems with the truck but issues with dust coming in the cab and windows going down are shuttering to start which dealers give you the runaround then once your passed 60,000 klm, then they would fix it but it's not under warranty now for those...
I have 70,000 klm. on mine bought it with 20,000 klm. from dealership in Manitoba with no problems except the cab gets dusty as hell when going on gravel roads just as bad as driving a rusted out vehicle with rust through the floor boards made cheap as far as I am concerned changed shocks kept...
If gov. impose rules and regulations on us for clean air why aren't they imposing them on airplanes and their ships and army vehicles or whatever they have in use all for the sake of creating war or involvement against what they seem to think is for the better of our future.Goverment is the...
I took my egr tube off the other day and it was also crutty but it was soft and oily so I let it soak in gasoline and took a rag to clean and blew it dry with compressor. I always put a reputable additive in my tank every tank since I bought the truck because I find the diesel nowadays very dry...
